Reflecting on the past year, it's clear that it has been an incredible journey…

One of the most significant obstacles I've overcome is my own self-doubt and limiting beliefs, especially related to my chronic illness.

Despite daily pain, I managed to show up for this podcast weekly, thanks to your support and feedback. I'm living my purpose, and it's all thanks to you.

We've achieved over 22,000 downloads, and I'm grateful to serve as your mentor and coach. This is truly my calling, and I'm celebrating this special birthday by giving you a gift.

The Value of Reflection and Planning

As an art entrepreneur, your most valuable resources are your time and energy. Reflecting on your year and planning for the next one is crucial for success, not only in terms of making money but also for achieving balance and fulfillment. This is where the SWOT analysis comes into play.

SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. It's a tool to help you evaluate your business and set a course for the future. Let's break it down.

Strengths: What Went Well?

When analyzing your strengths, focus on what went exceptionally well in the past year. Ask yourself:

  • What activities did I enjoy the most?

  • Which specific actions generated the most revenue?

  • What did I spend time on that directly contributed to my income?

Get specific. Identify the activities that brought you joy and profits, whether it's writing emails, social media marketing, or attending art shows.

Weaknesses: What Didn't Go Well?

Now, consider your weaknesses or the aspects that didn't go well in your business:

  • Did you invest time in activities that didn't pay off financially or emotionally?

  • Were there endeavors that didn't align with your goals but consumed your energy?

  • Did you pursue something that didn't generate the expected results?

Identify the activities that didn't work out and decide whether to eliminate them or develop the necessary skills to improve them.

Opportunities and Threats: What Lies Ahead?

In part two of this analysis, we'll delve into opportunities and threats. It's essential to take a break after this evaluation and return with fresh perspective.

Stay tuned for the next episode where we'll uncover opportunities to grow your business and identify threats that may hinder your progress. Remember, as a holistic artist, creativity thrives when you're rested, confident, and have a clear direction.
